Over the past
decade Gordie Howe has been an Upper Deck exclusive. He did shown up on a generic
card, the 2010-11 ITG Ultimate Memorabilia Top 10 relic card, which did not contain
his likeness and only basic details but if you wanted a licensed Mr. Hockey
card you went to UD.
In a recent announcement,
In The Game has stated that Gordie Howe has come to an agreement with them and
will have both autograph cards and game-used memorabilia cards in their product
this year beginning with the 2011-12 Heroes & Prospects set which releases
next month (February 23, 2012).
