Controversy
hit the Tennessee Titans when someone leaked a photo of the Titans’ new
jerseys, which were not supposed to be unveiled until a party tomorrow night in
Nashville. It may not seem like a huge issue, but the NFL is investigating, and
someone will be fired. ESPN was told that the NFL thinks that the photo came
from an apparel employee, so I don’t know it they mean Nike or another
manufacture involved in the new design and creation of the uniform.

OK, Maybe Not The Best Trend
I am just going to toss
this out there, but this is a tradition I might be able to get behind. In years
past occasionally the World Series Champions would wear some sort of jersey the
following season reminding everyone about the fact.
Here are the 1906 New
York Giants in their finest after beating the A’s in the 1905 World Series.
Here are the 1921
Cleveland Indians in their grammatically errored jersey after beating the
Brooklyn Robins in the 1920 World Series. Imagine how the trend can be
gloriously brought back from the dead if the 2016 version of the Cleveland
Indians can beat the 2016 version of the Brooklyn Robins/Dodgers.

Jaguars, Vikings and Dolphins Oh My!
Yesterday the Jacksonville Jaguars released images of their new uniforms through their Twitter account. The jerseys have changed quite significantly. They have three different jerseys- Home, Away and a Teal Alternate. The sleeves are a different color from the jersey and there is a swoop (gold or black depending on the jersey color) across the shoulders from back to front. The numbers have changed font and include a multi-colored stroke based on the jersey color. A "JAGS" patch, with the new Jaguars logo, is located on the upper left chest.
The helmets are the biggest change, they are matte black on the front and gradate back to a glossy gold with the new jaguar logo on the side.
I honestly do not know how I feel, I kind of like the look but the different color shoulders remind me of an Arena Football team’s jersey. The helmets will take some getting used to over time. I am also guessing that the uniforms can be varied up over the season by switching up the jersey and pants. It would be cool to see one of those new "JAGS" logo patches included on a card, unfortunately they to large to fit on to one card unless it was an over sized box topper or maybe a booklet card.
The Dolphins and Vikings are changing up their uniforms too. The Vikings had planned on unveiling the new uniforms tomorrow. It was expected the Dolphins would change their uniforms when they announced the new logo but they had not scheduled an unveiling for the new uniform yet. The images of both the Dolphins and Vikings new uniforms were inadvertently released on the Internet by a Jacksonville television station (Action News Jacksonville) who was carrying a story on their web site about the Jags new uniform. The pictures of the Dolphins and Vikings have since been removed from the televison station's web site but not before ESPN writer Paul Lukas, who runs the web site Uni Watch, found the pictures and posted the images of the new uniforms last night.
What is your take on the uniform changes?

New Seahawks Uniforms
Today the biggest news from the NFL is the revealing of the new Nike uniforms. Most of the uniforms actually look very similar with only a couple of teams making slight changes. One team though handed over the design phase to Nike designers and go for the complete makeover.
The Seattle Seahawks have only had one major change in their history, in 2002, but otherwise stuck to small changes or the addition of an alternate jersey, like the 2009 Green Alternate jerseys, so some people felt it was time for an update.
I am not a fan of the “wings” across the front collar but the rest of the uniform I am digging. Three jerseys were revealed including home blue, away white (both with blue pants and white pants) and an alternate "Wolf Gray" jersey that will be worn at least twice a season. I would prefer to see the Wolf gray alternate worn with blue pants over the gray.
