The Prize Draft Has Begun

Thank you all for reading my blog and congratulations to the seven winners selected in my blog-versary contest.

I have begun the prizes phase of my contest with the first two prizes having been selected and already packaged. I have just messaged the #3 winner so he can make his prize selection and I would like to have all of the prizes awarded and packaged over the next day or two and then I will be sending them all out together.

Winner Announcement

I once again want to thank everyone who reads my blog. A quick rundown of how the prizes will be awarded, it will be a draft-like selection with the first winner having their choice of the seven prizes. The second person selected will have their choice of the remaining six prizes, the third person selected will have their choice of the remaining five prizes and so on.

I need each of the selected winners to please send me an email at jumper48 at gmail dot com and in the subject line please state “Prize Winner” so I can pick them out quickly. In the email I will need your name and address. Once I begin to receive the emails I will contact each winner in order and let them know which prizes are available.

Now on to the winners, please note that I did have to randomize the list one additional time (the fifth list) because one person was selected a second time.

Thank You For Your Entries, The Contest Is Now Closed

The list is compiled and I will be randomizing the list shortly and posting tomorrow night. In all there are 32 people who joined the contest with five of them getting two entries. I will announce the winners tomorrow and post a screenshot of each randomization.

Here are the rules that pertain to this portion of the contest:

• There will be 7 prizes

 

• The list will be randomized for each prize with the first person on the list after each time I run the randomizer being the winner for that specific prize. So first time I randomize, that person is the first winner, the first person on the second time I randomize is the second winner and so on.

• I will use https://www.random.org/lists/

• If a person that has already been selected as a winner comes up again I will run the randomizer again to determine the next winner. This way no one person can win more than one prize.

• The prizes will be made up of 1997 Screen Play tins with cards, a Jerry “The King” Lawler autograph (which also includes two 2015 Leaf National Wrapper Redemption Acetate cards) and a stack of 50 Ken Griffey Jr cards (which may increase as I go through my collection).

• I will be breaking down the prizes over the next few days so people can see what each of the prizes contains.

• Once the contest closes I will take Thursday 7/14 to organize the list so I can run it through the randomizer and will run the lists on Friday 7/15 and announce the winners that night or on 7/16.

• At this point I am planning on letting the first winner select their prize, then the second winner, third winner and so on.

 Today is the final day for my 7^th Blog-versary contest. You can continue entering, or earn a second entry by advertising my contest on your social media, through tonight at 11:59 pm PST which is roughly 10 hours from the time of this post.

Time For My 7th Blog-versary Contest!

One month ago was my 7^th Blog-versary but with an impending move I decided to delay the celebration until July 6^th. I have completed my move, I am unpacked and my collection has been organized (sort of) and I have begun shipping packages for trades. Now that things have begun to normalize it is time for a contest.

For my 7^th Blog-versary I will be offering up 7 prizes and all you have to do for a chance to win in post here, nothing else is required.

Now for the fine print:

 

• You can enter the contest by posting here in this post that you are interested. For this you get your name added to the list once.

• If you pimp the contest you will get your name added to the list a second time. If you do this, please include the link to your posting.

• The contest will run from today 7/6/2016 through 11:59 pm (PST) on 7/13/2016.

I'm 7 Years Old... Well I'm Not But My Blog Is

It was seven years ago that I made a post titled “New Beginnings”. I wasn’t very specific about what I expected just kind of generalized, I don’t think at the time I knew what to expect and only over the years did I finally realize how I wanted to mold my blog around my interests.

In those seven years I have made 1662 posts and I am closing in on 350,000 page views. It has taken awhile but with the help of the community I have built up readers and I appreciate every person who takes the time to read through my posts.

I am moving this coming Friday (June 10th) so I am pushing my blog-versary contest to next month, so keep an eye open for that. I figure July 6^th I will post about it, I should be back to normal life by that point. Additionally, I will be sending out a couple of packages in July. I will be sending cards to zip codes 11572, 61401 and 70062, also Ryan (This Card Is Cool) when you move in to your new home let me know the address so I can ship to you.
