St. Louis World Series Rings

I found a bit of humor in this story. Today before the Cardinals-Cubs game the St. Louis Cardinals players received their World Series rings and the team management decided to create a design that would "tell the epic story of 2011" according to team owner Bill Dewitt III. So, they decided to pay homage to the "rally squirrel" and included a small squirrel crossing home plate.

If you look closely above the plate and crossed bats you will see the sleek figure of a small squirrel running. I think this was creative, it is fun and truly does tell an epic story.
