Today is National Pi day 3/14 so let’s see what pies made it into the sports world

There is the Hall of Famer and Pittsburgh Pirates great Pie Traynor

There is former MLBer Felix Pie, who is currently playing for the Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taiwan.

 

There is fan favorite John “Pie” McKenzie who played over 20 seasons in the NHL and WHA

 

And let’s not forget the SP Pie In The Face variations that Topps inserted in to baseball packs between 2010-2012.
