Please Read And Respond

I am in the planning stages of something I am trying to put together for my blog’s fifth anniversary this June so today I need input from the readers. I would appreciate as many responses as possible, even if you are just passing through it would really help if you leave a comment.

Who are your favorite athletes?

It can be past, present or future prospects. A short list of 2 or 3 of your top players would be really appreciated.

  1. Interesting question. Thinking about it I assumed that it would be those players that I collect. Some, yes, some no. I'll give you one of each. Orel Hershiser is a fine athlete that I collect. Jim Thorpe is one of the greatest athletes (in my opinion) in history, but I don't have a desire to collect him. Orel and Jim. There you go.

  7. As a Pirates fanatic, I'm a big fan of Clemente and McCutchen.

This one's totally off the wall, but my all-time favorite athlete is Hakim Warrick. His athleticism and acrobatic playing style got me into college basketball some 10 years ago.

Mets fan. Can you tell? What's that? Jeff Blake? Oh, ECU fan, as well (and Jeff Blake was the reason I became an ECU fan).
