Goodbye Nomar

Garciaparra was once considered one of the top 3 or 4 Shortstops during his early days, often comparing him with Jeter and A-Rod, but then he fell out of favor with the team and seemed to go in to obscurity. He ended his career hitting .313 avg, 229 HRs and 936 RBIs, not a bad career when you look at it.

Surprisingly enough, the eBay trolls have not begun to overload the site with overpriced cards just yet. You can also find plenty of Nomar autographs and relics for under $10 and even a handful running around $1.00 each.
