Thousands of years ago
there was a lot of water in what is now Northern Arizona and it has affected
the landscape in odd and wonderful ways with the most popular being the
Colorado River and the Grand Canyon but in my immediate area there is an area
of small canyons that have the most unique features created by running water.
I don’t think there is
an actual name for the area but it is west of my town between where I live and northern
Prescott. The cool thing is that the early settlers to the area didn’t alter
the area at all, the town was built south of the canyons and now that there are
neighborhoods in the vicinity they are designed around the cliffs so the natural beauty was not
changed.
pretty neat
