Monday Question Day- Bigger Sets=Better Sets?

Would you want to see massive sets like Topps Moments & Milestones, Upper Deck 40-Man or Upper Deck Documentary again?

I did get caught up in the 2007 Topps Moments & Milestones release, which had a whopping 12,475 base cards and that isn’t counting the three parallels (Black, Red & Printing Plates). I think I learned my lesson and I keep away from those cards now, the same with High Tek. I can see the reason for these sets but as a PC collector I am fine with them not being on the calendar.

  1. 40 man - YES. Everything else - hell no. As a team collector, it bothers me that so many fringe players never get a card with a short-term team. Hell, even an 800 card flagship set.. minus all the checklist and individual league leaders crap... would be great.

  2. I agree. It would be nice to have cards of backup catchers and setup guys who aren't rookies. But I don't need a set that covers every game of the season or has a dozen different cards of each player.

  3. I can't stand Topps M&M and UD Documentary. I'd be okay with 40-man or Topps Total though.
