All That Is Left X

The Sports Cards Super Bowl prediction was correct, now 7-3 over the past 10 years. Time to share All That Is Left X.

The Prizm included 3 Blaster exclusive Lazer parallels, they are pretty cool with a gold/orange color background. Along with the Butker card I showed yesterday, the other two are #68 Willie Snead IV and #362 Lil'Jordan Humphrey. The included relic is a Premier Jersey Riley Ridley.
The Donruss Elite blaster had a cool Star Stratus Green parallel Patrick Mahomes II, it was in the OT pack so that is why it wasn’t included yesterday, 3 Green base parallels (Mahomes yesterday plus Luke Kuechly and Rodney Anderson). The relic is a Craftsman Sterling Shepard.
The Prestige hanger box had 60 cards, with 3 Hanger Box exclusive Green Xtra Points. Former University of Arizona QB Nick Foles, Jordan Howard and Evan Engram. Prestigious Pros Green Carson Wentz and the relic was a Gridiron Heritage Alvin Kamara.
The only Seahawk out of all of the packs is this Chris Carson from the Prestige hanger box.

All That Is Left IX

The Sports Cards Super Bowl prediction was wrong, now 6-3 overall over the past 9 years. Now it is time to share All That Is Left IX.

The Prizm box included a pink Premier Jerseys Jaleel Scott relic and 250 Panini Rewards points. There were no Seahawks and the best card was probably a Joshua Jackson pink parallel.

The Absolute box was a bit better. Still no Seahawks, but some nice inserts with Brett Favre and Odell Beckham Jr.

Three Blue Sparkle parallels

Rookie Force Kalen Ballage relic

Signature Standouts DeMarcus Walker auto

The Playoff was another decent box. I pulled 4 Seahawks, 2 base (Wagner & Marshall), a Wilson Playoff Heroes and Chancellor Hidden Gems.

The inserts were pretty cool. In addition to the Playoff Heroes and Hidden Gems I pulled a Thunder & Lightning and the Stafford Air Command.

Rookie Stallions Dante Pettis relic

Red Zone parallel Jordan Lasley autograph.

All That Is Left VIII

The Sports Cards Super Bowl prediction was correct and the cards are 6-2 overall. The dust has settled, so it is now time to share All That Is Left VIII.

This year was pretty light on what I felt was worth covering in my "All that is left" annual post, but I did select a couple of cards that were decent pulls. In addition to these cards there were 3 Seahawks, plus a couple of rookies and parallels.

From the 2017 Optics blaster I pulled the base Trubisky rookie card, a Rated Rookie pink Christian McCaffery and a Gridiron Kings Drew Brees. I am going to hold on to the Trubiksky and McCaffery cards hoping that these guys turn out to be decent.

From the 207 Prizm blaster it was even more slim pickings, there were two Przims and the three retail blaster exclusive Disco Prizms but they were players where you ask “Who?” when you hear their names. This Premier Jerseys Josh Reynolds was the best of the worst.

All That Is Left VII

The sports cards have predicted another correct outcome and have now won three straight Super Bowl predictions (5-2 overall). I didn't expect the final score to be 10-3 but the final outcome was the Patriots by a TD, so the cards were close.

Because I went with two blasters of 2016 Contenders I didn’t get any variety besides the hanger box of 2016 Optic Football that would have been used as a tie breaker. There was not a whole lot worth posting about but here we go with All That Is Left VII.

From 2016 Optic Football I pulled a Carson Wentz Rated Rookie, boy these Optic cards do not scan well. There were also two Prizm refractors and four Purple Bordered Prizm cards but nobody special.

From the 2016 Contenders blasters I pulled a pair of Seahawks
Each Contenders blaster box was to include a relic card, I pulled one relic card and one “Panini Points” card. I scanned in the points and took a look at Panini's Rewards page, there isn't a whole lot to chose from in the 150 range so I guess I will just pick up some more points eventually and get something average. Though I will admit ( I am joking) that the Aaron Curry 2009 Absolute Memorabilia patch card is making it hard for me to bypass.
The relic card is Alex Collins from the Seahawks so I am very happy with this pull. It has been awhile since I pulled a hit of a player or team that I collect. Collins is a rookie and backs up Thomas Rawls, he had 31 rushes this past season for 125 yards.

All That Is Left VI

Unlike the previous two Super Bowls where I stressed most of the game, yesterday’s game I was able to just sit back and relax. I was not rooting for either team so no matter what it was a win-win for me. The only thing that I had in the back of my mind was how my Sports Cards Super Bowl prediction was doing and how freaky was it that heading in to the 4th Quarter the score was 16-7 with the Broncos on top? This prediction was the closest the cards have come; maybe next year I will get at least one of the scores correct.

Now it is time to see All That Is Left VI

This year I pulled a couple of decent cards and even three hits. The blasters I grabbed each promised one rookie relic card but I pulled a Rookie Ink autograph out of the Panini Contenders box.

Here is what came from the Topps Chrome blaster:

A Calvin Johnson Refractor
One of the best receivers of this NFL’s generation who is expected to retire shortly
A Blue Wave Refractor Ameer Abdullah and a Green Refractor Josh Harper
The Blue Wave Refractors are 1 per Hobby Box so a nice pull there and Abdullah had a decent season and with Johnson leaving he can pick up receptions. Harper on the other hand isn’t even on a team, he was undrafted and signed with the Raiders but was waived before the season even began

A 1989 Topps Super Rookie from my favorite team
A 60th Anniversary Eli Manning… Mr. Not-Happy-For-His-Brother

I finish off the Topps Chrome box with the Walmart Exclusive Rookie Relic card. I pulled Chicago Bears rookie Jeremy Langford. This is some sort of parallel of the base card, it is purplish and #/75 where the base versions are not numbered.

Here is what came from the Panini Contenders blaster:

A triple threat of Seahawks and it is expected to see Lynch retire soon too
A DeMarco Murray Playoff Ticket #/199
You wonder if he is reconsidering that move to Philadelphia?
A Round Numbers die-cut of Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota

A Pennants die-cut Justin Forsett

A Rookie Ink Danny Shelton autograph
Shelton is from the Seattle area and played at UW

Closing with my guaranteed Rookie Ticket Relic of DeVante Parker
Like the Topps Chrome guaranteed rookie relic I pulled another decent player but nothing special.

All That Is Left V

Now that I am done yelling at my television and I have come to the point of acceptance that the Seahawks lost on a dumbass pass play call it is time to look at “All That Is Left” where I review what is best of the rest of the Championship packs.

A 2012 Prestige Nick Foles RC, I always enjoy pulling a University of Arizona product
A 2012 Score Greg Jennings, this card isn’t a MOJO pull or anything like that but I felt this is a cool photo of Jennings doing the Lambeau Leap
A 2013 Prizm Jarvis Jones Rookie Autograph redemption, only 2 ½ months before the redemption expired too. I looked and it doesn’t appear that any of these cards have been filled, I submitted it anyway and will wait and see.
A couple of Eddie Lacy rookie cards out of 2013 Topps
A 2013 Strata Marquise Goodwin rookie card bronze parallel #/150
I close with a 2014 Sage HIT Ka’Deem Carey Next Level card, another Arizona Wildcat to bookend the post

All That Is Left IV

Now that the Seahawks have won the big game 'Hawks fans like me are now coming back to Earth so it is time to find out what else was in those Championship repacked packs. In all I opened 38 packs (counting the Panini sticker pack and the OT packs) and I had some decent pulls. For the first time I actually pulled some relics and an autograph.

Let us find out “All that is left”.

A couple of rookies with a 2012 Prestige Richardson and a 2012 Upper Deck Mohamed Sanu 1993 SP variation. I always liked the early 1990s SP design, they were among my favorites of the decade.

A 2012 Topps Chrome Justin Blackmon 1965 Tall Boy variation
A Magician’s top hat worth of Topps Magic football:
A double dose of 2012 Magic rookies; Nick Foles and a RG3 mini

A double dose of 2013 Magic inserts/parallels; Sam Bradford short print black bordered mini and a Manti Te’o Rookie Enchantment (I really like these cards).

One of the repacks came with an advertised relic card along with some inserts and additional draft cards in penny sleeves floating in the box. The relic card I got was a 2006 Upper Deck Vernon Davis Rookie Futures jersey card.
A 2012 Absolute Kendall Wright Star Gazing jersey relic
A 2012 Strata Jeff Fuller Rookie autograph
I also pulled a variety of rookies and inserts, nothing special though. This year was my most satisfying break because I was fortunate enough to see my favorite team win the Super Bowl, I got my first hits out of a repack box and now the sports cards at 2-2 at predicting the Super Bowl.

All That Is Left III

Now that I am 1-2 with Sports Cards Super Bowl, though my wife is a Ravens fan so a happy wife takes precedent over my Sports Cards Super Bowl prediction so I am fine with being wrong, it is time to look at all that is left from the packs I busted with the annual "All That Is Left".

I did not pull anything jaw dropping this year but when you consider I spent $20 for 20 packs I cannot complain. Here is all that is left.

Starting with a duo of 2011 Topps cards, the Colin Kaepernick rookie from yesterday’s prediction stands out as one of the best cards in the box. A win would have made the card better but still a decent pull. The 2012 NFL MVP/Offensive Player of the Year was a nice addition. I expected Peyton Manning to win the MVP Award by a slight margin over Peterson but honestly the award could have gone either way because they both earned it.

A couple of HIT cards, RG3 and Doug Martin. SAGE does not really make a huge splash in the sports card market but you cannot complain when you pull these two from a couple of HIT packs. RG3 added the ROY Award Saturday night and didn’t seem to have a limp when he walked on stage to accept the award, this could be good news for Redskins fans.

I opened the 2012 Topps Football rack pack after making the prediction yesterday and here are the best of the rest. A Gold Mario Williams parallel #/2012 and a Jim Kelly QB Immortals retail exclusive insert. I finished up with a Brandon Marshall 1965 mini.

I have to close with this beauty
